Homepage

When you first open Primer, you will be on the homepage:

The Primer logo in the upper right is actually a button.  Clicking it will turn the Primer logo green to indicate that Client Mode is enabled. While in client mode, all sensitive data will be hidden. This allows you to have clients look over your shoulder while using Primer without exposing any sensitive data.

"Gallery Name" is just a place holder- your organization's name will appear in the top left. Everywhere else in Primer your organization's initials will appear in the top left.  Clicking those initials will always bring you back to the homepage:

The Five Sections

The homepage prominently features 5 buttons corresponding to the 5 major sections in Primer.  Hovering your cursor over a button will highlight it in green and reveal additional options:

Clicking on the button will take you to that section in Primer. The additional options are to the right:

Tools

In the lower right corner is a Tools button:

Tools contains 4 sections, some of which may not be visible depending on your Access Level.

Tasks: Tasks allow you to manage projects and reminders for yourself and your team.

Locations: Each location where you store artwork has its own record in Primer.

Accounting: The accounting section allows you to find, group, review, and tally details of transactions, payables, and artworks.

Settings: This is where you manage all of your users, defaults, and settings in Primer.

Upcoming Tasks

If you have any upcoming or overdue tasks, they will be displayed on the right side of the homepage:

Each user will have a different list displayed here- only their own tasks will be displayed.
